UNBLIND is an ongoing photographic project developed through a close, lived connection with Anastasiya, a woman gradually losing her vision.
Built through trust, shared experience, and long-term engagement, the project explores how perception, identity, and presence are redefined as sight continues to change. Through photographic encounters and collaborative video recordings, the work follows Anastasiya’s lived reality not as a medical condition, but as a human process shaped by uncertainty, adaptation, memory, and inner strength.
Rather than explaining or resolving her experience, UNBLIND stays close to it, reflecting on how a person remains connected to herself and the world during transformation.
Grounded in care, reciprocity, and attentiveness, the project is not only about seeing, but about being with.
Photography is when you silently scream.
When. silently through lens, you speak and
show so much, than no human words
or codes can ever describes.

Even with bindness, even with fear,
I still see myself. And that heals me.
